“ I tried Pizza Maru's BBQ Garlic Chicken Pizza for the first time, and it was amazing! The generous chicken, flavorful garlic sauce, and crispy crust made every bite delicious. Friendly staff added to the great experience. Highly recommend! ”
“ Fresh, unique, and delicious! We tried the shrimp bulgogi pizza and it was absolutely worth it—definitely something you won’t find at any Western pizza chain. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the flavor and quality make up for it, especially if you go for one of their fancy crust options. The ahjussi working there was super friendly and welcoming. We were pretty hungry and decided to eat inside, though there were no chairs available, so we stood and had a few slices. Despite that, the owner kindly gave us a free pop, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a very positive experience—great pizza and warm service. Would come back again! ”

“ The pizza at Pizza Maru Lougheed on North Road is absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for amazing Korean pizza in Burnaby or Coquitlam, this is the place to go. It's right on the border of both cities, near Lougheed SkyTrain Station and Korea Town. They also offer different filled crust options, which makes it even better — every bite is loaded with flavour. Once you eat here, you’ll be craving it again — I’m still thinking about their shrimp and bulgogi pizza! After writing this, I’m already planning to come back in the next week or so. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, and the location is super clean. While there isn’t a full seating area, they do have a bar counter if you’d like to dine in. Highly recommend Pizza Maru Lougheed if you're in the Lougheed or North Road area! ”

“ I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the pizza. I’m not a fan of sweet pizzas, so I went with flavors without corn - the 13" Signature Shrimbul and Garlic Chicken BBQ. Both were absolutely delicious. Neither were too heavy nor greasy, and the flavors were spot-on. What really impressed me was the attention to detail – they placed clean paper napkins underneath the pizza to absorb the oils that usually seep through the boxes. The service was quick (ordered pick-up via Doordash), and the facilities were super clean and larger than I thought. It was also cool to see the owner in the kitchen as I usually catch him promoting on Instagram reels. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and flavor are definitely worth it. I’ll be coming back soon. ”

“ It was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Signature pizza, which had shrimp, potato, meat, sweet potato also added garlic sauce—it was amazing! We also got the boneless chicken, and that was just as tasty. The smell was so tempting on the 30-minute ride home that we couldn’t wait—we started eating right away! The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to everyone! ”
